This year Business in the Community have conducted their Corporate Responsibilty Index survey for the second time. Charlotte Sandy examines its results.

This voluntary, self-assessment survey provides an annual benchmark of how companies manage, measure and report their corporate responsibility. 500 companies from the FTSE 100, FTSE 250, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) and selected members of Business in the Community were invited to take part in the survey. This year 139 companies completed the survey and were included in the index.
